When it first came i though it were to be used as a tool of showing you appriciation for another persons opinions. But instead it became something people started whoring for. And the fact that it is not signed, makes it easy for alot of internet hardasses to send bad karma to people they envy. No, you shouldnt take it serious, but not everybody likes to be called a asshole or worse without reacting. So if they want to keep the karma system, make it so that you CANT send unsigned karma.
