Turn Pro, by winning 1st at Am Nationals or winning one of the big 5 contests during the year. I've already done this.

Compete at a Pro Qualifier (there are 3) and place top 5 (top 2 in one of them) to qualify for Pro Nationals. I have not done this yet.

Compete at Pro Nationals and place top 5. This qualifies you for the WSM.
