i hope you know what happens to your gifts if you sponsor a child through the salvation army. any child that gets money will never receive it. the salvation army pockets that money for their costs. gifts get opened up by the salvation army and put on display on a table. kids and their family then come in to pick one toy. so if you sent several toys to a child, he/she will only receive one. any personal cards addressed to the child get thrown on the trash. why would they run things like this?

to make sure there is enough to go around.... it sounds worse than it is... and the salvation army is always first in when there is a crisis.

They're going to be the next ones to get shut-down. Do you remember what happened to the United Way? Crash and burn baby, crash and burn...

im sorry but if i sponsored a child and i gave him three gifts i would expect him to get those three gifts. although 'sharing' those gifts with other children is understandable, stealing their money and trashing their personal cards/letters is just plain wrong
