the question i have is why doesnt anyone help the newbie on this board and no im n

elite isnt the only board out there, many other boards are smaller and help newbies :)

True newbies should start out on the smaller boards until they get a handle on what they're doing IMO... then if htey come here and ask legitimate questions that appear to be well thought out, people will answer.

After being around for any length of time and seeing hte same questions asked over and over again you just eventually stop answering... especially when a lot of newbies seem to not take your advice when you take the time to give it.

a newbie should read first before asking questions that are already posted right ni frotn of their face. it gets very repetitive when the same thing is asked over and over again. even a search on google can answer some of the questions.

Im a newbie also and have been "READING" the boards (thats the secret search is a wonderful thing) for several months now and 99% of my questions are already answeared from the ton of information here. :)

exactly, it only takes a little reading

I do what I can and dont mind answering the same question over again because the way the board works search isnt all that effective for non plats.

if you have a specific post you want a answer on pm me the link and I will do what I can to help

everyone was a newbie once. And I'm not talkin about punching a key board. In the real world where do you go for advice when your talkin AS? You have to come here and get bashed around by people who think they know everything and forget they too started out doing the same thing!

I do have a question though, If your a vet, and have a lot of experience, what are you doing here if your not here to contribute to the new guys?

well im not a vet but ill tell you what they are doing here.
1) nobody knows everythings
2)this a place to be social and talk to people with the same intrests
3)flex their massive knowledge muscles in the face of all newbies :-)
