True newbies should start out on the smaller boards until they get a handle on what they're doing IMO... then if htey come here and ask legitimate questions that appear to be well thought out, people will answer.
After being around for any length of time and seeing hte same questions asked over and over again you just eventually stop answering... especially when a lot of newbies seem to not take your advice when you take the time to give it.
a newbie should read first before asking questions that are already posted right ni frotn of their face. it gets very repetitive when the same thing is asked over and over again. even a search on google can answer some of the questions.

everyone was a newbie once. And I'm not talkin about punching a key board. In the real world where do you go for advice when your talkin AS? You have to come here and get bashed around by people who think they know everything and forget they too started out doing the same thing!
well im not a vet but ill tell you what they are doing here.
1) nobody knows everythings
2)this a place to be social and talk to people with the same intrests
3)flex their massive knowledge muscles in the face of all newbies
