The Quest

How can I build a 6 pack?
How can I raise my bench press max?
How can I make my arms 20'?
What's a squat?
What's powerlifting?
What's DC Training?
What's a split?
AS?
Do I need rest?

These are questions I see all the time here. Here is the answer.

Make up your own answer! Be innovative! The only way to learn is by trying it yourself. A professionals routine or the guy next doors routine may not work the same for you. You can ask all the questions in the world but until you try yourself, your wasting all of our time and yours. :)

Great post and good questions to ask oneself. Training is an evoloution of oneself, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I find myself constantly tweaking my routine and diet. It's a choice to to train, and a sacrifice, once that is realized, the whole picture becomes clearer of where I want to be.

I agree, in that everyone has stuff that works better for them. However, back when i started lifting, if i knew then what i knew now, i would have been light-years ahead of where i am now!

It has certainly helped me to figure out what kinda works for me over the years, but i think there is a lot of time that i wasted in the beginning just trying to figure stuff out on my own.

Sometimes, there's no reason to "re-invent the wheele" so to speak.

While I do agree with you I also feel that this is what this board is about. I have come here for knowledge before simply because I know that the people here can help. Why else would we have it? Of course it would help if people would do a search prior because 9 out of 10 times the same question has already been asked several times.
