The process of injection...

New member
I was wondering if perhaps someone could make a post on how to properly use syringes, types of needles and supplies for different applications.

For example, what supplies might I need to keep everything sterile and clean. What size of needles to use for what areas. Things to avoid , how to perform injections.

It's easy for peeps who have done it before but for people like myself who are new to injection, I wouldnt mind some one on one help.

I gotta stay safe, jamean?

Do a search. You'll find what you are looking for.

Oh I have, I was just looking for some tips like shit people learn from mistakes. If I could pick those up before hand then I could avoid some problems should anything happen.

spotinjections.com will help with where to inject. you can do a search online for steriod injections.

as far as sterilizing, wash hands before you inject. wipe needle down with sterilizing wipe and top of vial. pull out required amt of gear. some people inj with a diff needle, i dont. wipe down inj spot with wipe, inj, and rewipe. thats all i do as far as sterilizing. i also rub the area,do unweighted squats and hop in the shower to loosen it up and to prevent next day pain.

That's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for. Small yet helpful tips.

Thanks for the info.

lol, alright fellas, I get the point.

Search more.

As far as what sizes of needles to use, it depends on what you ar using. For the most part I like to use 25G for almost all injections. I load with an 18G and then switch and shoot with a 25G. It just depends on what you use. Hope this helps.

wipe needle down with sterilizing wipe .

I wouldent touch the needle, when your ready to use it take it directly out of a sealed sterile package, dont take the chance of getting it contaminated by wiping it down.

Solid advice! DON'T TOUCH THE NEEDLE EVER!

My method is: P.A.I.N.

P uncture
A spirate
I nject
N eutralize

Pin size:
In general, if you are doing smaller muscle groups, many folks use 27ga (because they are using smaller loads of 1-2cc), I use for my glutes or quads 18-23. I don't feel a difference at all between the sizes, and since I am doing 3cc's at a time, that works well for faster injections.

Cleaning/safety:
Having cottonballs and then peroxide and rubbing alcohol are good to have on hand. I also keep a bottle of 3M sterilizing hand lotion. I wipe the area before and after injection with the alcohol, use the lotion on my hands about 15 minutes before because when you clean your hands too well, you either end up with greasy fingers, or fingers that are too clean to be able to grip the needle. If you end up bleeding a lot, I use the peroxide and dab around the area.

A few words about Filters:
If you are breaking amps, it is a good idea to use a filter to suck up the juice. This will catch little bits of glass from a broken amp. I hate when my Primo amps shatter and I end up with little bits of glass floating in it.

some people like different size needles... you can go from 5/8" if your super lean, to 1.5" for deep muscle glute injections. i prefer 23 gauge 1.5" that way i can do glutes, quads and delts... dont have to go as far in with the 1.5" some people prefer 23 g, and some 25.. for water based some go for the 27- 29 g.
the needles are already ( hopefully) steryl when u get them... i'd say buy both 23 and 25's to see which ones u like.. along with some 20 g for drawing out the compound fmro the amp or vial.
lets see.... i like doing them right after the shower so my muscles are warm, i still alcohol prep the site, make sure most the air is out, then stick that badboy in there... aspirate, then if no blood, inject that shit and start growing! remember to wipe area agina with alcohol and massage the area for a minute or 2..
thats all i got

Ok, this is what I do............when I let out the air, I let one tiny drip of oil to drip down the pin, to me it acts like lube!

Instructions for first-timers.....

Step 1
Wash your hands.
Step 2
Wipe the top of the vial of medication for injection with an alcohol swab.
Step 3
Remove the needle guard from the needle and syringe, saving the needle guard. Be sure you are using a proper syringe for intramuscular injections. Pull back on the syringe plunger to draw up an amount of air equal to the amount of medication that your doctor has prescribed for injection. For example, if you want to inject 2ccs of oil, then pull back 2ccs of air.
Step 4
Holding the vial of medication in an upright position, insert the needle straight through the center of the rubber stopper in the vial. Then push the plunger to discharge all the air into the vial.
Step 5
With the needle in the vial, turn the vial upside down and hold it in one hand. The tip of the needle should be in the solution. Using your free hand, pull the plunger back in a slow, continuous motion until you have drawn into the syringe the amount of medication that your doctor has prescribed.
Step 6
If air bubbles have formed in the syringe, dislodge them by gently tapping the syringe with your free hand while continuing to hold the syringe and vial in the inverted position. Bubbles should rise to the top of the syringe, and then you can push them back into the vial by moving the plunger. Double check to make sure you have the correct amount of medication in the syringe. If necessary, draw more solution into the syringe.
Step 7
Remove the needle from the vial. With the needle pointing upwards, pull back on the plunger until all oil from the needle has been pulled back into the syringe. Unscrew needle from syringe and replace with a brand new, preferrably smaller needle. Replace needle guard.
Step 8
Prepare the injection site by cleaning the area with an alcohol swab. To do this start at the center, apply pressure, and cleanse in a circular motion working outward. Do not retrace your steps.
Step 9
Wait a few seconds until the alcohol has dried. This reduces the sting. Remove the needle guard from the needle and syringe. With the needle pointing upwards, tap the syringe to dislodge the air bubbles and push the air out of the needle until you see a tiny drop of oil start to form at the tip. Hold the syringe as you would a pencil.
Step 10
Holding the syringe at a right angle (perpendicular) to the prepared injection site and insert the needle.
Step 11
When the needle is in place, slowly pull back on the plunger to see if any blood flows into the syringe. If some blood does enter the syringe (a rare occurrence), remove the needle, replace the needle with a new one, find another area to inject. Repeat Step 8.
Step 12
If no blood enters the syringe, slowly inject the medication by gently pushing the plunger until the syringe is empty.
Step 13
Remove the needle quickly. Apply pressure to the injection site with your alcohol swab. You're done. Massage the area. Now go do the most important parts - eat and train!

Ceasar- Go to the first page on the forum......and one of the first posts from the top will be called a "sticky" It says newbies read this also by Mr.X......very good info for you. You will learn alot there from pins to pct to cycles to workouts.

Also, in Mr. X's advice for "newbies" there's a section on how not to freak out. I panicked when I squirted some blood once, sure I was going to have a stroke and that I injected into the artery. Read his advice, calmed down, all was cool. Worth the few minutes!

Good advice.

Don't wiggle the needle during the shot.

Depending on your gear and the concentration of BA in it, it may be very important to massage the site for a long time, like 10- 15 mins after the shot, at least at first, keep you from getting painful lumps.
