The "Please listen George" thread

i must admit i was curious myself
 
When locking posts - all mods should make one last post on the thread - explaining the reason for the lock and claim responciblility. I know some mods do such as Warlobo, and its appreciated.
 
I agree. Although why this particular thread was locked is no great mystery. I just can't believe that little worm got the last word. Campus models can get away with anything!!:mad:

I locked it - it was starting to turn into a flamefest. I believe High Intensity started another thread about pop up's in general that was on the site for about ten minutes. I am not sure if he deleted it or it was deleted by a mod. The thread he started about pop ups in general was perfectly fine, however, the other was locked when members started to insult and degrade other members.
 
Fair enough Shrebly. But, for the record, it was HI himself who started to insult and degrade other members. And that's not just my biased opinion. The thread speaks for itself.

hey, if the thread is locked, does it mean it'll be eventually deleted? Because there is some seriously funny shit on that thread.
 
I don't think it will be deleted. I think that it just sinks into the archives. Even when a member is deleted, some of the posts are still hovering around in there.

I have to say in GT's defence that he didn't try bring the thread or the slagging into the gutter. I'm all for locking a thread if both parties are getting down and dirty in the gutter, or if it's a totally onesided argument. But when one side appear's to be able to keep the debate on the straight and level I'm willing to let it slide.
However it's been acted upon, and as I like and respect both warring parties I don't wish to restart it here.

Of course I did. The difference is that mine were provoked, club kid's were not. Like bouncer said, I tried to get campus model to stay on point in numerous posts. He was unable or unwilling to do that, and started with the personal attack that I've now immortalized in my signature.

I don't need this to go on forever. However I stand by my "Well he started it!" defense.
 
If 2 members are insulting each other freely in a thread and neither of us is whining to a mod about why lock it?

We are just having fun, like I laughed my ass off when those 2 dildo's called me obese and a stupid American in another thread that was locked.

Because they werent very creative in the flame, I am Canadian and I accomplished my goal because thier panties got all in a knot.

Listen I don't have the time to continued this verbal tirade. Once again you have spitted and incorrect statement without having the facts before you, smalls closed it herself, I asked her not too. Your need to hate me bothers me, only for the mere fact that it stems from miscommunication. I believed at the time that in the thread you called me a loser, I did not realize that it was in regards to Karma someone one sent you using my addy. This is the Internet my friend, Highintensity is a screen persona based upon myself, but created to have fun. The mod in question happens to be Bouncer who is a friend of yours and mine. He had expressed a concern over the popup ads at work and I was attempted to help him out.

For the most all i do is help people on this board. As a Personal Trainer I post more than my share of advice on the training and supplement board. I am not a racist, an asshole, or anything detremantal to this site. In fact most of my posts are well received and enjoyed by all.

My reference to your age was in hopes that you would be the bigger man. I don’t know if I will still be on this board at the age of 33, but if I am I would have the maturity to handle situations such as this. Everyone on this board has a voice and a reason to post Plat. or not. The very fact that I take the time to post informative information on this board, makes me a member with a voice.

Now it is time for me to turn the other cheek. I am sorry if I offended you with the stats comment it was immature and uncalled for.

My need to hate you? Relax kiddo. My hate is reserved for far more imortant people than you, so you don't need to sound quite so wounded.

Who your friends are, what bouncer thinks, what an angel you are on this board is all very nice I'm sure. But it's also all very irrelevent to the subject of the thread, which I desperately tried to stick to. I assumed the bad karma was from you and you never tried to tell me otherwise. What was I supposed to think?

For every piece of adivse you post on the Training board, I post five, so that does not impress me either. I never said only platinum members have no say, I was very clear on that. And you can reference my age all you like, but being the bigger man here isn't particularly difficult. The thread deteriorated because of your temper young man, not mine.

Now, you've promised to drop this about five times now. I'll leave it alone if you will.
 
I didnt' read this thread but I will say there is no point in complaining to George..I think from his view if you dont like the pop-ups go platnium...there have been many threads like this since I've been here and they made no difference.

hell if I know - but I think you will see it being referenced here more and more.

generally speaking, as far as I can tell - if you are in a debate with someone - the surest way to win it and stomp all over them is to point out that they were likely never a campus model.

p.s. this fight was between Gymtime and me...I appoligized to him for jumping off the cuff...I took it to far and made that clear in this thread. But you felt the need to butt your head into something that did not concern you, time after time. Lots of people love you on this board, but If these same people knew the REAL Happy Scappy I know they would not be so impressed.

It's times like this that I wish i really cared what happened on this board. I'd jump into this shit, and make everyone my bitch.

As with all soon-to-be-locked threads, I'm staying away. :)

I will say however, non-specifically, that's it's best to mind your own affairs.
