The "Perfect" Meal

New member
My diet is currently ok, but I have too many protein shakes during the day. I want to replace the 8PM shake with solid food, though I don't want to have to cook, really.

I've started eating lowfat cottage cheese for my 8PM meal (1 cup, 28g protein, 12g carbs, 3g fat)....

My shake used to be 30g of Optimum Whey and 1 TSP of flax seed oil.

IF you need more info on the full diet it's here:

Is the cottage cheese a decent meal in and of itself? Or should i add something?

I used to be a cottage cheese fiend eating 1-2 small tubs a day
but i've cut it out on the recomendation of someone who sid dairy might be inhibiting me losing some bodyfat since i am slightly intollerant to dairy so i've cut it out and infact i feel like im a bit more tight in the midsection after just 1 week

I don't half miss it though :/

Why not cook up a few pounds of meat that you can dip into when you want? If I had to actually cook a steak or chicken breast at every meal then I'd never be able to eat right. I often cook a few pounds of each type of meat on the barbeque and it will last me part of the week. So long as you don't overcook the meat then it will be fine heated up. If you cook your steak and chicken too long then the microwave will dry the hell out of it.

My last meal of the night is usually 5-6oz of lean steak. I cook it rare initially and then in the microwave it turns into medium rare so it is still juicy and tender. Dip it into some Dijon mustard and you're good to go.

Great tip re: undercooking the steak. I hate microwaving a piece of meat only for it to taste like rubber.
