The only thing that can save my family-less Christmas is....food

i have the oyster and merliton dressing in the oven; making the house smell SO good!
 
I just had cereal. Going to be my only meal today until tonight but I have to drive 2.5 hours to get a meal because of my family.

Although I do have an apple crumble in the oven right now I'm taking to my great aunt's house. Smells awesome.

Um, we make lasagna, not cornbread.

LOL..Here in Texas they look at me like I just mocked their god when I tell them that our main course is Lasagna and not Turkey.
 
I have no immediate family left, not even any aunts or uncles, and I'm not in contact with any of the cousins. So I have to drive 75 miles up to Redneckville and "do Christmas" with the ex-step-mom and her family. I'd rather bite my own tongue off.
