Now, the Exorcist was badass.

I still don't care to see that shit. Even when I was athiest, I still had a fear that there was an evil being and demons. It all plays on your mind. You can imagine anything and believe that it's real. My sister saw that movie when she was 17 and had to sleep with my parents.

Understandable.
I'm Agnostic, so that shit doesn't phase me.
But I do believe in the Tooth Fairy.

If you see him again, catch his ass. That little fucker only gave me dimes while he was giving my friends dollars. That shit fucked me up and I want some payback.

Heavy shit.

An atheist should actually believe more in the balance of good and evil, "demons" and "angels" so to speak. Not having faith in an all powerful, all loving, all caring deity, leaves the netherworld to demons and angels good and bad alike. Sort of like reading the Necronomicon in place of the bible (in a certain context).

That sounds more like a dieist than an atheist. Being an atheist simply means one does not believe in the existance of a supreme power, or in some cases, even the supernatural.

Only a deeply religious person would be fucked up enough to do it or even consider it.

Watched it first when I was about 13, and me being brought up in catholic schools just made it even worse.
