I just think the idea behind "wait until Jan 1st to come and them make up a resoluton" is stupid.

if you want to do something or accomplish something or set a goal, just do it. why does it have to revolve around a new yr?

Oh trust me, thats no problem! Hell i got 5 kids! It takes alot of practice to grow a bunch like that! :evil:

Well to be fair, yes, I lack discipline.

At the same time, sometimes people get stuck in horrible ruts and routines, and once they realize there is a NEW YEAR around the corner, it wakes them the fuck up and makes them realize the things they need to change, where as before, the constant routine/rut could have prevented them from seeing the light.

Also, for some reason, maybe psychological, I am more bound to carry out new years resoloutions versus just setting goals throughout the year, it's like I feel obligated since the year is NEW, and you make it a point to not repeat shit you did the previous year.

I guess it's all about perpective, I for one, have no problems with resoloutions and they are a GREAT way to kick of a new and exciting year.

I cant really say its a new years resolution but in the next year I plan to buy a car thats a few years old,that might happen in the next few days.

get out of debt from college and irresponsible spending

and bank money so I can live comfortably in my time off during the slow season
