Beats the hell out of me.

Bottom line is we've moved from a "release candidate" copy of VBulletin to the latest Gold release. That always means applying some site customizations; last time it took nigh three weeks to apply them all. Shouldn't be that long this time.

I dropped a note on the developer and told him we want to fix the text template so it says Karma again. I'm more concerned with keeping the database from thowing a load average of 40, which is where it's been heading during those slowdowns.

Instead of a nice black dot on threads you've replied to, now there's a pale arrow pointing down and to the left. Utterly non-intuitive.

Yeah, the site initially started faster this morning, but it has hit slow down bumps like the ones we've experienced the last 2 months or so.

ok, the one I was referring too is the white arrow that appears on the envelope beside the thread title on the main page. It's white and the folder colors aren't much darker than that, which makes it hard to see.
If we could just darken the envelope/folder colors, it'd help greatly.

The way the screen paints as the graphics come in, sometimes things move around while I'm trying to click on 'em. Any chance that's what is happening to you?

I think I know what you mean, I would suspect that if I was using multiple clicks to enter a thread, but it happens at times when I only click once. If it's only happening to me, I guess I'm doing something weird.
