Japan man proves he survived both atomic bombs

Wed Mar 25, 10:32 AM

TOKYO (AFP) - Japan has certified a 93-year-old man as the first known survivor of both US atomic bombings in World War II, in the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima when an American plane dropped an atomic bomb on August 6, 1945. He survived with serious burns and returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, where the second bomb was dropped three days later.

That is one hardcore dude.

And people in America scream they are oppressed and can't make it in life. Bitches.

I want to buy that man a beer.

I never understood people that idolized other people who happened to survive odd physical harm type incidents. Like someone who gets shot a bunch of times and lives. That person didn't really do anything, character wise, to survive the gun shots. They got lucky in several ways. But I don't see what's admirable about a person in that sense. Not much logic there, IMO. Furthermore, we're human beings with survival instincts. Everyone also seems to throw ridiculous praise on people who get through tough times. WTF, is the expectation that we all kill ourselves when bad things happen, therefore any time someone "survives" it means they are amazing gods?

I hate people. They are very, very dumb.

What if this guy knew we were gonna drop the second bomb on Nagasaki and he went back there just to show us he could take it?

LOL, I can picture him standing there yelling, "C'mon bitches, is that the best you got?"

No shit. This is why I don't feel "sorry" for americans. Waah, I won't be able to afford my 3-bedroom house and 2 cars! Waah.

In 1940 people were being blown out of their homes. In 1800's american soldiers were being killed by other american soldiers. In the 70's, there were fistfights at gas stations.

So standard of living is dropping across the board cuz Wall St anally raped the govt. Well, then get used to not having a summer cottage and living in a nice neighborhood far away from those illegal mexicans.

a) in my experience, comparisons like these rarely work. "there are starving children in rwanda!!!!". well, fuck them. my mind can't really comprehend all that cause it's not something I experienced. plus, comparing anything to extremes like that is useless. that's basically an easy cop out. so when I cheat on my wife she should feel all fine and dandy if I say "at least I didn't rape your mom"? nonsense

b) in reference to the quote above...in the 2000's there were fistfights at car washes

Really? Let gas hit $6/gallon and we'll see just how easy life is when people can't get gas.

Yeah life sucks right now dude. Honestly, you should just jump off a cliff and make it easier. The world is ending tomorrow, there's really no point anymore.

Plus the blaque skin hides the scars.
