The interesting thing about suicide

Is that often times it reflects the mental state of the suicide victim in question at the time of death. So, say a person is angry and/or feels neglected, then they may choose a more "in your face" way out like slitting their wrists since this leaves a mess that is hard to ignore. However, say the suicide victim is dying of some fatal disease, then they may choose something more pleasant like a heroin overdose. I think people choose a means to their end that parallels their motives for causing such an untimely death. It all boils down to human emotion. Take a clown for instance who is fed up with trying to make children laugh, he might choose to hang himself in a kindergarten in an attempt to emotionally scar the young students' for the rest of their lives. His goal might be to incorporate his death into the lives of said children so as to manifest in them feelings of hate and horror that might later translate into rich adult lives fraut with child porn and thoughts of ejaculating on the family pet. Good for him.

Your insights into the human psyche are sophmoric, bland and lack imagination. You should think of a new endeavor more suited to your skills and talents. Maybe a career in accountancy or drooling.

Have a nice day.

I think you spelled sophmoric incorrectly but I may be wrong. Wouldn't that be "sophomoric" huh? Huh? You so know it would.

NATHAN:

The weird thing about suicide is that the Catholic Church views suicide as just, if not an even greater, sin than murder. The reason? The Church of Churches believes that when someone commits murder, at least they are still alive to have an opportunity to seek forgiveness and repent for their sins. When someone commits suicide, that person has also taken a life, yet since the person who took that life is immediately killed, that person has absolutely no opportunity to seek forgiveness or repent for his/her sin. Now isn't that some fucked up, philosophical mumbo-jumbo?

That is a wonderful example of why religion doesn't work.

My parent's best friends since high school lost their son whom I knew well to suicide. He was 29. His dad found him hanging from a rafter inside their barn. He's a tough man. Don't know how well I could deal with that. I had nightmares about it.
