Hospitality Industry gives FT benefits if you work 32 hrs...4 on 3 off aint bad. Nice atmosphere and alot of chicks but the pay is weak.

It pays 'bout $40,000 a year. Depending on bonuses etc.


I have to lug 2-6 tons of glass per day. Picking up a piece of glass 60x60" is murder on the joints. My job is non-stop go go go.....

I'm surprised I have as much energy as I do. I suppose it's tribute to a healthy lifestyle.

Too bad teaching music doesn't pay the bills.

I'm taking the "Early Retirement Pkg" on August 1. Been here for 27 yrs.This out-sourcing bullshit has helped pushed some of us older guys out the door a little sooner than we had hoped for. I'm only 48 & I'm still gonna have to do a little something on the side to pad my income but I'm going take the rest of the year off doing "whatever" before I sit down & decide what that will be. I feel like I've earned that. Hopefully I will be able to do something that "I" want to do for a change. Not quite sure what that is just yet though.....but that would be nice.

Yep. Work places are gettin' more stressed, and with fewer options outside of work, it gets even more stressful. Best thing is to find a job that you love. Then you neverhave to "work" another day in your life.

You know it's not that hate my job or love it, it's bearable, very bearable in fact, it's just that I hate waking up in the morning at a set time....if I oculd just find a job where I could sleep as much as I want, whenever I want.....and still make what I do, get the bennies I do, and have the same supportive work environment.....

Still hate it. But looking on the bright side, since I won't be at this job much longer, I asked a couple of women out that I had eyes for and they said yes.
