ever just get so wrapped up in your life that you don't really take a good look at your surroundings and one day you wake up, look around and realize you're living in what looks like a college dorm?

It's gonna be a long day filled with cleaners and trash bags.
GAH

The only good thing I can see is that there are no dishes in the sink and what is in the d/w is clean.

i would freak...i notice everything. my laundry is the only thing that piles up some...but its the "clean" laundry i dont put away...i wash my clothes so much i wear them out.

MOW mow?

Oh good someone else does that for me.

I'm living the other way - w/ my house up for sale, every morning my house has to be 'realtor ready' before I leave because if I let one thing go, it is guaranteed that that day someone will come thru.

Then again....its whay I live at the beach

I do too.
You have no lawn?
Dirt?

Condo?

That said the d/w's empty, floor's clean and I have a load of wash going -

I think I have 3 months of trade magazines that I have yet to read.

Girl, I so know the feeling. Spent most of the morning into after noon doing nothing but cleaning. Figured while I was at it I would clean out the kids toyboxes for christmas gifts...Then I decided to go all the way and re arranged furniture!
Lol, the kids rooms looked terrible..

Torture must be in the air - I just pulled all my clothes out of the cloest.

I'll be back when I find the floor.

except for the area currently known as "gift wrap central", or "my dining room", my house is usually ok.

although, there's usually one or two things that weigh heavily on my mind. right now, its vaccuming, that hasn't been done in a week or more.

lol, I dont even dare to go through our clothing!
Before we moved I sorted through some of the clothes. However I did not go through all of it.Scary!

i'll tell you what. I have plenty of dishes in the sink that you can take care of for me, that would make the circle of life, er, cleaning, complete for you.

Girlfriend - I just found my old tap shoes.
I just finished the pantry.

This house cleaning somehow elevated into a spring cleaning.
I have two trash bags to go to the dump and a huge pile to go to Holy Trinity.

I think it's safe to say I'm not going to make it into the office today.

LOL!!!!

This post gives me great comfort - past two months have been a blizzard.
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NEAR MID-DEC

It was just August

It's ingrained in me to keep my pad clean.

Bless your heart, it's a rough market out there for sellers! Why are you trying to sell??

Never been so busy that you just didn't have time or used what time you had to other things?

I remember I had take some time off work a but over a year ago and the house was lick the baseboards spotless but at the same time being home all the time with the time to spare to look at everything I was obsessed with keeping it perfect and had the time to do it.

Looks pretty good right now - so I'm pleased - just have some more laundry, a bath to clean and 3 months of trade rags to get through.

YAY!

Oh Velvett! I have a rule...For each new article of clothing...an old one must go...
I guess I may be in the obsessive category...My car for example...Has no papers or stuff in door sides...It is not a closet..LOL...
Trunk only has a small gym bag, that has my shuffle in it gloves and water bottle.
That way I don't forget it.
My house...pretty clean...not obsessive clean but clean...
The whole idea is if it looks good/order I am fine otherwise I may get in a bad mood.
I have this other rule (for me) to simplify chores...If I am upstairs and going to get something from kitchen -I give a "ride" to anything that need sto be downstairs...
Whatever...

Good rule on the clothing...
I just wash 9 pair of yoga pants and those were just the black ones.

My car is spotless = but then again I spend a lot of time in it so it would bug me. My office is also spotless - a messy working space drives me.

The house - poor house has been neglected yet the good that came out of it is that I threw out a lotof stuff I should have parted with earlier.

YESSS the ride I do that with the basement.
