...2 illegal handguns, and he got busted for ARMED TRAFFICKING...what are the chances he will be able to get out of this one? Also, they were aware of the deal going down, and pulled him over for having too dark a tint on his windows and then searched his car.

So...armed trafficking..what are the chances he WON'T see jail time for this? I believe he just got off probabtion awhile ago..

i had a buddy who went to jail because he got pulled over, and they found a double sided small blade in his toolbox in the back. He was on probation also.

You are to be on your very best behavior while on probation, armed traffiicking isn't very well behaved.

Lots of states have mandatory sentencing for illegal guns. in NY he;d be doing a few years.

Where ar you? Colorado? After Columbine they had to put something on the books?? Sounds like he is fucked,.

So, he had a gallon (4 liters) of GHB. Well, if he gets a GOOD lawyer, he can get off on probation again. A gallon of G can still be personal use considering if he claims he's addicted to it. I'm not sure about the firearms thing though........

Hee hee FL....

FL has some strict gun laws. (I am in FL right now. I have no guns).

I can find out specifics but this is bad.

Frackal... I've got a story to tell you in a couple months (when it is over) which relates highly and will boggle your mind...

Frackal, your guy is doing time. Sorry.

Matt, you are incorrect about having to do time with the handguns. Although some of the weapons possession statutes are classified as violent felonies, other subsections are not. I've gotten people felony probation, even while they were on misdemeanor probation with the sentences to run concurrently. So state time is not necessarily mandatory in NY.
