Even though many of the top natural bodybuilders have taken anabolic steroids, growth hormone, and insulin. I have learned first hand that you cannot just assume someone is on steroids just because they have a phenominal build, are extremely strong, have acne, may be aggressive.....all these traits are seen in many people who don't even have the first clue how to use anabolic steroids. I have seen a bodybuilder with terrible acne scarring on his face. Everyone would always point it out purely because his build was very muscular. One day he brought his mother in, she had the exact same scarring. A very close friend of mine was doing competetive powerlifting before he tore his pec. He was able to bench press over 400lbs clean. His build was nothing what you would expect. He had long arms, was extremely lean, but for some reason had an extremely powerful bench press he was able to develop. Thats the only exercise he was that gifted in, but many people would'nt except the fact he was not using steroids. I'm sure Gary Coleman was on steroids when he was arrested for hitting that pesterring fan a few years ago? Or how about when Jack Nicholson took a gulf club and shattered that car window of a person he got into an argument with outside a resteraunt....do you think they were on seroids? Probably not. The same goes for bodybuilders. I worked in an industry that was flooded with steroid abuse. I learned that most people who use steroids really never come close to a Skip La'cor or Tito Raymond, let alone athletes like Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler. Be proud that these athletes have achieved their goals. They all look excellent and have put a lot of time, hard work, knowledge, and most of all commitment into what they do. They deserve as much respect as someone who sits down at a diinner party and plays the piano. People don't question that the pianist some how cheated to learn how to play. They realize that they themselves could achieve such a goal, but they also realize the hard woork and dedication it would take, So they give that person the respect they deserve for their accomplishment. Who really cares if Tito Raymond or Skip Lacour juice. This is how they make their living, and they are good at it too. When is the last time one of us was featured with two beautiful super models on the cover of MuscleMag International? What I am saying here is that we should all realize that we are unique. I am a bodybuilder and you are a bodybuilder, just as Tito and Skip are too. I think that is great. We all have a commitment for something unique. We want to make our bodies look as good as we possibly can. Whats wrong with that? Lets not judge one another on who is natural or not, lets learn from each other to better ourselves. I'm proud to be a bodybuilder, and I hope one day the majority of the general public will give us the respect they give other athletes, and one day the world will understand what bodybuikding is all about. Train hard my friends and achieve your goals no matter how you decide to. You are an artist and your body is your art.
