The Flu got me

weeks 6 and 7 my weight did not move an ounce i was stuck on 203 after i gained 25 # in the first 5 weeks. and finally the last two days i felt the pump again and boom 3 more pound and the flu. I'm drinking vitamin C every few hours, and i'm fighting to keep my food intake the same, any advise on how to get rid of it fast.
 
Sleep, sleep, sleep……

You might not know the difference if you have never had it before depending on previous cycles but does it feel like the regular flu? Or could this be the common flu we bro’s like to call the ‘Steroid flu’????
My first experience with the ‘Steroid flu was this year.
What are your symptoms and what day did you start noticing symptoms? What day you on now?

Mine lasted 8 days of feeling like crap, and then slowly back to normal over the next 8days.
I got great advice from a respected Mod here on suck it up and rest, sleep and drink water……and rest some more.
He said be smart and don’t be King Kong and go to the gym it will just keep you out of your gains and recovery time longer.

So I took the advice and for 5 days just rested went to the gym twice in the first 12days then 3days the following week instead of my usual 5days/wk. And boom back to normal and gains took off.

So I hope this helps, any questions just ask as I know what your going thru if it’s the ‘Steroid flu’.

It's my first cycle, I'm in the end of week seven Deca, Winny, GH from almost day one I felt what they called the steroid flu, it wasn't a big deal I knew when I would sneeze once or twice a day that my body was not normal, but this is different my tonsils hurt and I cant breeze and my eyes full of tears. I took the day off from work and I'm planning on sleeping and drinking a lot of liquid. My wife made me some creasy chicken soup with every vegetable you could name in it.
My biggest fear is to get high fever, before I started my cycle I was doing to much after hours clubbing and I got sick to many time with high fever (104) I dropped to 157 by March of this year, that's when I decided enough is enough, and I took my ass back to the gym.
