Excellent picture.

Is it conincidence that the pose is so similar? It wasn't planned, but it gives you a feeling of awe that it happened to be almost an exact match. How awsome!

Do you mean that the picture is false (i.e. done in a Hollywood studio), or rather, that the men knew that they were going to be photographed raising the flag. If it's the latter, I don't think it takes anything away from the picture.

It is unfortunate that in this world the US is like the good looking jock in high school. Everyone is your friend when the can get something from you and gain from your presence, but the minute you are not around they diss you. Or take satisfaction when negative things happen like the envious people that they are.
