The US has had a 4-6 year recession cycle since the fed was created by congress, that means Barry is gonna get one on his watch which will create a new Republican majority blaming Barry for failed economic policies even though the POTUS has almost no control over the economy.

I'm not talking about housing bubbles, I'm talking about recessions, there has only been one true housing bubbles since WWII so I have no idea why you would even bring it up as a trend.

Half of what you listed isn't the purview of the federal government; 10th Amendment.
Tax policy and budget yes but the rest is a resounding no.

It was a deadly cocktail with many ingredients. Fed keeping rates artificially low (like now, and once rates return to normalized levels, housing prices will plummet), bill Clinton was primary driver in pushing banks to lend to low income areas, American consumers, and a host of others.
