***Are they really trying to look out for our best interest or the interest of the big pharmaceutical companies??? Here is an example for you...If you knew of a product that could stop the growth of cancer, cure over 30 illnesses, halt addictions, release growth hormone, and cure insomnia and depression wouldn't you be more than happy to share it with the world and stop the pain of many in the United States??? They do, it is called GHB or (gamma-hydroxy-butyrate) and it is found in every cell of the human body...most of you know about the kick ass bodybuilding effects that G has...16 times more baseline Growth Hormone release, metabolite of GABA a relaxant neurotransmitter, deep restorative sleep especially if you are on the sauce. I am going to keep this short, bros and sis's please feel free to comment on this thread or email me. It is next to impossible to find GHB or it's precursers anywhere anymore, the government is completely shutting down any source for GBL/butylene glycol/GHB because they want to regulate it as a pharmaceutical, (e.g-Xyrem), they don't want any regular Joe walking into to a nutrition store and buying a bottle of this miracle substance...My bottom line is this...The FDA is a rampant financially driven association that could give a shit less about the american people and their health....Sorry about the long post...Gpro

I'd have to say their whore to the big drug companies, but use the tag phrase trying to protect the public, or the "children"( which they seem to think we all are).

Triax may be a better example. Triax(tiratricol) was pulled by the FDA partially in reaction for some supposed problems 1 couple in PA(I think) had . I think they had dizziness, and some other sides, and a blood analysis showed an elevated T-3 level in each (this is from a conversation with people at Syntrax 2 years ago, so facts are a bit rusty to me). So Triax was yanked. The real problem was it works. It was helping people lose weight. 6 months after Triax is pulled guess what hits the market?? Meridia- coincidence??? Seems like Abbott had a lot of money in R&D that would have been wasted if Triax was available OTC.

The FDA is basically a hindrance, not a help. The DEA needs to delist all meds that are not physically addicting. Simply put, less government is always better government.

In order to make steroids harder to get they did classify them as physically addictive.

They reasoned that because they can shut down the body'd natural production, you MUST have them, or will leave you with a defecit in test levels, therefore you are physically addicted. Talk about a stretch!!!!!!!!

i'm all for ghb, but i don't think it should be sold OTC. I just know way to many stupid kids right now that fuck themselves up as is with it, can't imagine what would happen if it was sold OTC.

The FDA is simply a bloated political bureaucracy that inhibits the development of medical devices, drugs and new therapies with meaningless clinical trials and extraordinary additional costs for manufactures.

The FDA is about as helpful as a dozen testicle leeches replaced daily.
