DO NOT take your girlfriend to this movie unless she is completly emotionaly stable. I took mine last week and didn't realize how out of wack her hormones still were from the pregnancy. We had to wait for ten minutes in our seat after the credits rolled just so she could finish crying
Then right when I though it had stopped she started back up in the car on the way home, wtf. It's a decent movie but only for the emotionaly stable.

Yup, she's not pregnant anymore but the hormones remain unstable for up to a year after the birth, it's going to be a LONG year.....

I know you guys are going to shoot me for this but I thought it kind of had a political agenda. Glorifying the homesexual relationship and the liberal parents while making Sarah Jessica Parker's conservative character out to be a real nasty bitch.

As it turned out she actually did have a heart. Interesting movie with Sisters stealing men from each other and Brothers doing the same thing.

My wife and I liked it, but there were only a handful of people in the theatre.

All movies have some sort of political agenda most are liberal; however, I thought the movie the Island was somewhat conservative with the anti-cloning stance it took.

Yes, you're right. Usually it's subtle but sometimes its in your face (e.g. Brokeback Mountain).
