The Effectiveness of Clomid (Results Inside)

I just wanted to share this with all of my brothers, here. This wasn't actually related to PCT, but it's applicable here.

My total testosterone levels have always been around 400-450; not low out of range, but not optimal by any means. I'm only 27 and have no intention of starting TRT this early (not that it would be prescribed for my levels anyway), but I did want to see about getting my test levels higher.

I ran clomid at 50mg/day for 4 weeks.

The result? Total testosterone of over 1,000 (1027, to be exact).

Pretty impressive stuff.

I'll likely get it checked out again in the next month or so to see what the levels look like after ceasing the clomid. Additionally, my LH was significantly raised (actually slightly high OOR) and my FSH increased a bit, too. I'll be trying to have a kid in the next year or so, so that part is actually really important to me.

Anyway, just wanted to share the results here to show how effective clomid can be at raising LH and testosterone.

Oh, and my LH and FSH level changes were also interesting:

January, 2012:
LH: 3.46
FSH: 4.00

August, 2012:
LH: 4.6
FSH: 3.7

February, 2013:
LH: 15
FSH: 8

My levels of both were previously not "low" but they were definitely in the lower tier of normal. I'm hoping to have a kid in the next year or two, so I find these particularly interesting.

Must you cycle clomid? Can you run it for long periods? Your results are intersting for sure

I don't have the links handy, but there are studies that show it being used as an alternative for TRT, but the dosing is usually more along the lines of 25mg EOD.

Interesting result, did you run it alone or with something else?

I ran 1 cap of Erase Pro EOD at the start and then 1 cap daily after the first 2 weeks or so up until 5 days before I finished and had ran out of it. Aside from that, it was purely staples (multivitamin, fish oil, creatine mono, BCAAs, and other amino acids).

Thanks! Do you include cardio in your workouts? If yes, did you happen to notice any changes in endurance? I am interested in trying this cycle also.

Clomid is an alternative to TRT for hypogonadism, but I don't know how widely it is used or how it compares for the long term.

The interesting thing, in my case, was that I didn't really feel any different or note any differences while using it. I don't directly include cardio in my lifting sessions, but every 3rd week is what I call a HIT session and I have very short rest periods and get some great cardio out of it. I can't recall where that week fell into the 4-week cycle, but I didn't notice any significant changes.

For me, it's just a very nice thing to know moving forward whenever I try to have my first kid.
