acne.... yeah b5 benzoyl peroxide and accutane are treatments but.... accutane ive never used it before just benzoyle works great but its a damn bleach. so accutane 2 times a day but at what doses? on cycle whens a good time to start the treatment... 1st day right?

Dude, I dont care what everyone else on here says. Accutane should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor.

I am currently ON. My skin is as clear as it has ever been. My dermatologist put me on the following regimen:

Mornings:
1.)Apply oil free moisturizer to face/shoulders/back/chest
2.)apply Duac (benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin) to face
3.) Apply Clindamycin to back, shoulders, chest

night:
1.)Apply oil free moisturizer to face/shoulders/back/chest
2.)apply differin to all areas. (retinoid)

I swear it is the greatest ever. It will definitely end your acne!

Yeah, Accutane is serious stuff. Severe nose bleeds, weak joints, dangerously elevated triglyceride levels, depression in some people...

When I was on it, my doctor had me doing blood tests every 2 weeks, and it was a good thing, because my triglycerides shot up really high and I had to go off of it.

Try Differin. It worked the same as Retin-A but without the skin peeling. And without all the side effects of Accutane.

b5 works for me, as well as dial soap. sometimes i shower twice a day, and get some sun. tanning helps clear it up, maybe go to a tanning salon. keep in mind when buying b5, they're not all the same. i bought some from gnc, it worked great, but it was $11 or $12 for a bottle. then i saw some at a local supplement store i frequent, and it was twice the quantity for about $9, i thought great deal right? wrong! i took twice the amount daily and still didn't get the results i got from the gnc branded b5.

i started with double the recommended dose on the bottle, if i still get acne, which on some days i do, i'll add another capsule or two, usually works great. you'll need to experiment with the dose. my wife was getting some acne, she started taking two capsules daily, cleared it right up.

accutane is no joke for sure. I use this stuff called panoxyl. You can buy it at any walmart over the counter. That and tanning keeps my acne away

I fully agree, but have never had the balls to say it. Accutane is probably the harsher than any aas, and you shouldn't just "wing it." Everyone I have known that has been on accutane had weekly bloodwork done, because it can really mess with a lot of things.

Before I got the scripts, i used panoxyl too.. its just benzoyl peroxide soap.... If I use it now, I get irritated badly, way too dried out.
