"The Comeback" Starring Arnold

The Architect

New member
From those of you who don't know its the movie about Arnold coming out of retirement and winning the 1980 Olympia. Do any of you have this movie or have you seen it and how did it compare to Pumping Iron?

I don't have it, but I've seen it on Kazaa a few minutes ago.
Do a search on total rebuild in Kazaa.
If you don't find it you can use Overnet (www.overnet.com) or eDonkey and this link:

my friend got it off ebay...the movie rocks. it is as if arnold is two totally different people in the too movies. in the comeback he is hardly cocky at all....actually worried about losing. and there are much more people in his class this time.

the best part for me is when the show platz doing leg extensions....good lord!! he is a goofball in it too, talking about how bodybuilding relates to philosophy.

and for those of you that dont know....i saw last night that pumping iron will be rereleased on cinemax....with unseen scenes.

JC sounds like a must have. So far I can't find it on kazaa, so I just might buy it from the link Juiceseeker gave. Oh and how much did your buddy pay on ebay.

This movie also settles the ridiculous debate that Mike Mentzer never let go of. It's obvious Arnold was not as his best and not nearly as dominant as he was just a few years ago, but seeing him standing next to Mentzer, he made Mike look small.

I actually thought Zane looked amazing, but a little TOO light on that evening. (He suffered an accident just 2 weeks prior to the show which made him lose a lot of weight and hampered his training.)

The final results as I saw it:
1: Arnold
2: Zane (finished 3rd)
3: Roy Callender (finished 7th)
4: Mentzer (finished 5th)
5: Dickerson (finished 2cd)

And oh yeah, Platz has the stupidest legs you'll ever see in your life.

Sweet, going to try to find it myself then. Crap, can't find it at the moment.

If someone has it and wants to trade videos for videos etc, I have some, still trying to find this. I uninstalled eDonkey2k but I suppose I can put it back if need be.

Been looking several times a day, nothing yet. Back to eDonkey looks like.

no offense but when trading something on a computer, dont you keep it also as well is give it. Who cares just help the bro's out and give it to em

I got it with overnet but It took some time. The image quality is poor/average.
The vid is what I thought it would be. Mentzer, coe, dickerson don't get much exposure. You can see platz, zane and of course arnold posedowns.
Arnie looks smaller et less cut than in pumping iron and you can hear some booh when he's announced as the winner.

Nelson, how could he (Arnold) make Mentzer look small? In that contest Arnold was 228- at 6"2" vs Mentzer at 220- at 5'8". An 8 lb difference with 6 inches difference in height? Maybe he made Mentzer look SHORT.....lol. I have the 80 O video- the contest one that isn't the case there. Arnold looks realy good in some shots, lacking in others. The contest looked to be between Dickerson- who Mike told me should have won- "the tightest skin I've ever seen", Mentzer and Coe. Roger Walker had the best back in the contest and deserved to place ahead of an amazing Roy callender who should have been ahead of a drawn Frank Zane.
