I just think its funny when BIG parents try to figure out why their children are overweight, and they think it has nothing to do with setting an example- or habits/rituals that the parents start.

Don't even get me startd on my big cousin and her husband who are perplexed to have a 130lb nine year old kid who looks like the human incarnation of "attack of the killer tomatoes". His older brothers are a normal size, but this kids just packs down the food. He ate as much as I did a thanksgiving.

Yes, this is my fear with my ex wife. She has absolutely no self-control about food. Problem is she has primary custody of my daughter, and I don't want my daughter to be the fat girl that gets picked on, only because her mom doesn't realize what she is doing. Sigh....I can only hope that me being ACTIVE in her life will help.
