Notes: Says he had "other priorities." You bet he had other priorities. Imagine how early in life you must begin scheming to get away with what this guy has. He was too busy thinking about Halliburton to go fight Charlie.

Notes: I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby is Dick Cheney’s Chief of Staff. He’s had a string of no-doubt well-paying government jobs in State and Defense. He’s also practiced law. In fact, he was Marc Rich’s lawyer for years. Yes — the Marc Rich whose pardon from President Clinton was excoriated by so many high and mighty Republicans. Maybe if Scooter had been a better lawyer, his client wouldn’t have needed that pardon. Speaking of legal questions, “Scooter” is alleged by some to have traded energy stocks while helping his buddy Dick Cheney cook up a new energy policy in secret. He’s also suspected of having inserted the bogus “Niger yellowcake” reference into the President’s State of the Union address. Clearly “Scooter” is a ballsy kind of guy, so it’s a complete mystery to us why, when he graduated from Phillips Andover in 1968, he didn’t enlist in the Marines or go Airborne instead of going to Yale.

Now Karl’s Senior White House advisor. If he really is “Bush’s Brain,” and if the fondest wishes of former US Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV come true, one fine day Karl will be “frogmarched out of the White House in mandcuffs.”

Will history record that event as “Bush’s Lobotomy?”

To which others answer, “plenty of farmers and mechanics and kids just out of high school served. Anyone as full of whatever that stuffing in him is, could have tried out for a battlefield commission.”

Notes: Deputy Secretary for Defense - yet another Bush administration man in the Pentagon who has no idea what it's like to wear a uniform. He got a BA at Cornell in 1965. Maybe if we'd had a guy as bright as he thinks he is in Vietnam, it would have turned out differently.

Wow, talk about free time. Everyday we go into Bush's war record. Funny, at least he never (especially while still under contract) verbally attacked/tore down his own country. And Bush was never honored for his kind words of support ... by a COMMUNIST NATION!!!

In my mind, when you talk ChickenHawk you talk about draftdodgers - such as Clinton.
Bush served his country and has the Honorable Discharge to prove it. Where's yours? Enough said!

Which is just as well, because when he otherwise would have qualified for the Vietnam draft, he had a “vague physical problem” that got him a 1-Y draft classification - “draft only if the Canadians are crossing the border shooting.”

Got his start at State with help from Jesse Helms. Bolton had previously helped Helms get around campaign finance limits. For all his hawkish ways, he never found his way to Vietnam, though.

He got demoted to board member after an ethics flap. Space does not permit even an index to the reasons why this man should not be trusted.

I understand what it means, but my point is at least the Pres. served. Where he did his duty isn't the point. At any time the gov. of his state could have volunteered his troops overseas and he would have been in the same danger.

Clinton sent troops out on more (different) military operations than any 2 presidents combined. (no b.s. check the record.) Yet, he DODGED the draft. Not served stateside, but DODGED the draft. Service is service, and no matter who you are or what you did you offered yourself up to your country. I know, I have done it. I respect those, no matter what their military accomplishments, for their service and feel they are more than capable to lead our country. This applies mostly to Bush, but you get the point.
 
He did a great job of defending our Texas Air Space. No one vietcong fighter jet ever got through.

He got in the gaurd with the lowest score you could get and jumped over 500 people on a waiting list to get in the Air Gaurd.

He became a 2nd Lt without ever going through OCS.

Hmmmm Boy that silver spoon really paid off.

Add all this prime material to only 1 out of 400 members of Congress having a son/daughter involved in the war. Absolutely fucking disgusting. Fine for them to authorize/promote/condone war as long as it doesn't involve them or their families.
