now if the heavy rain will hold off just a little longer. I will be having a beautiful porterhouse for dinner. :p :p

i want some bbq!!!!!!!!!!

i mowed 2 acres of grass tonight and when i was done it was so beautiful that i almost thought about bbq'ing, but thought better of it as i don't really know how and it would have been a shame to burn such a pretty lawn down :)

Now that would have made your dad's day. You cut the grass and cook him a steak. ;)

lol....pleeeease do not laugh, but how does one go about bbq'ing if one was wanting to do that??? you gotta get some briqquettes (sp?), fire it up...? he has a really nice charcoal one, but i had this horrible flash of the house burning in the background as he rolled into the driveway.....

i love bbq'd chicken legs as well as steak :)

A good barbeque.

Your favorite brew.

Bright, sunny, 75 degree Southern Cali Sky.

Your best buds, with hot chicks present.

Life is good....

Just light it up and let the fire burn down to where the coals are red, but there is no flame and put your food on the grill. The trick is learning how long to cook it, and that takes time. Keep an eye on it to make sure that the juices don't cause it to flame up. If it does, just spray some water on the coals and it will be fine. I have a small spray bottle that I use. The hardest thing for me to grill is chicken on the bone. It is so easy to under cook the inside of it. Raw chicken is not good. :(

This morning I am trying to figure out how my dog, molly, knew the difference between the steak I cooked for me and the hamburger I grilled for her. I cut up the burger for her and put it down, and she sniffed at it and came back and tapped me on the leg.

Yes, she ended up with part of my steak. I can't say no to that sad face.
