The CDK Diet plan.

First off, I am new to the site and must say, this is probably one of the most informative sites I've been in reference to health related issues. I have found that most people on the site are very helpful when questions are asked.

I have been reading a lot about the CDK diet plan. It seems easy to do when I am reading about it, but I have a big problem. I have next to no knowlegde when it comes to calories and so forth. Is there a link or does someone have a sample menu for the CDK plan? With that I think I am able to get a general idea on what can be eaten and what not.

I've tried searching, but when I do do a search, over 10,000 threads comes up.

Please comment or link me.

Thank you all.

jerkbox - thank you very much for the link!

Is there anyone out there that's willing to share their CDK diet menu? From day 1 through 7? Is this diet, basically the same as the Atkins? From what I have read, the results are pretty effective.

Someone please help me with a diet menu.

Thanks.

Hey confusedmushie, Try Mr.X's manual or read this recent post by HS Lifter "End of week 2 on CKD".
I hope this helps you out, if not, post some of your stats and i'll give you a start.

Meal 1. Bacon and eggs.

Meal 2. Tuna and mayo.

Meal 3. Cheeseburger no bun.

Meal 4. Hotdogs and salami.

Meal 5. Protein shake with keto milk.

Above is the menu that HS Lifter is following. Now, on the CDK diet, are there pre-set amounts that I am able to eat, or it is I am able to eat any amount? How about the 7th day? What's a good diet to follow on the high carb day?

Some personal information -

I am 6'2, weighing 262 lbs. I do not have any detailed information, as I have never been too much into getting myself into shape. I am trying to absurb as much as possible now. Here is a picture of me, you can go from there.

You can't eat any amount...you need to be below your daily maintenance in calories regardless of diet type.

Here's a sample day for me:

1. Egg white omellete with some cheese
2. Chicken\Turkey with veggies
3. 2 cans tuna with Tuna Salad Maker (eg. mayo)
4. Chicken breast with veggies, 2 tblspns Flax
5. Protein shake, flax oil

Sometimes I substitue some ground beef, or sausages for the other types of meat.

and that keeps you in ketosis on a consistant basis?

doesnt look too hard. I think I'll give it a try, just make sure I keep my BMR right.
