Hello All,

Do you go into the newsagents or bookshop, read a chapter or two of a book and walk out again!!!!!

I reckon I'm one chapter away from getting permanently banned from WH Smiths Bookstore just down the street!!

lmao... I normally do all my "browing" online... It's been ages since I bought a book at a bookstore. I normally read online reviews, make up my mind real quick and hit that amazon.de shortcut.

Yes and No. Are the Wh Smith's in England big like the Barnes & Noble bookstores here in the U.S.? The WH Smith's here in the U.S. are usually in airports, train stations and hotels. They are not designed to hang out in.

Now, in the winter months, you can find me at a Borders/Barnes Noble using their books to do research (diet, for school, new ideas, receipes etc.). Its like a library but cooler. Nice couches and they have a coffee shop in them. I always wind buying a book (though I think the amount I spend on lattes is more than enough). Sometimes it is just a cookbook out the bargin bin.

I'm such a :nerd:

oh, yeah, I love the Barnes&Noble cofee shop. A lot of times you can find books really cheap there. If not I hit half.com (part of e-bay) and get them for like 0.75-1.25$ hardcovers + shipping maybe 2 something
