This just might be the real next leap in muscle enhancement. Right now they are just beginning to get the connection from the brain to the muscle. But after that I can see where they can amplify the brains signal to the muscle. Thus increasing the ability of the muscle to respond to the minds command to function. If you increase the mind muscle connection you increase muscle growth.
Currently they have to implant electrodes in the brain. But I have seen experiments that use sensors to pick up brain waves and the user uses those to control objects. It's being researched by the military for fighter jet controls. One of the researchers using it to sail his sail boat. He puts on the sensors and sit in the captains chair and "thinks" and the boat does what he thinks about.
If they get this working you could train with it and never have to worry about passing a drug test because you aren't taking any drugs.
