The Anabolic Diet - Di Pasquale

I remember reading experiences from guys on this board and a few others that it worked really well for gaining lean mass provided you can really stick to it and not cheat.

I tried it for a bit and I did get stronger but I was having some real issues sticking to it so I cant be a good judge.

A friend of mine who's a world level powerlifter uses the original anabolic diet to help him make weight. However, I'm not sure you can find the original plan (unless someone has a copy to loan you); it's been re-engineered as the Metabolic Diet. There's a ton of information (some specific to bodybuilders) on this site:

http://www.metabolicdiet.com

Keep in mind, this is a site promoting the sale of the Metabolic Diet and DiPasquale's own line of supplements.

I'm a competitive natural bodybuilder, and I use the Natural Hormonal Enhancement plan - you can find the book on bodybuilding.com or on extique.com (NHE website) if you're interested. It's worked wonderfully for me - the main focus is increasing natural growth hormone production (and testosterone prduction, if you're a guy). It's more of a lifestyle change too though, not just diet.

You have to be willing to make some dietary sacrificies (like pizza and beer :( ), but it's worth it when you start making the lean mass gains without adding fat or even while losing fat.

NATURAL HORMONAL ENHANCEMENT PLAN
ok, it's interesting...

X JJFIGURE, How much are you increase the lean body whit the N.H.E.P ??

I'm a natural bodybuider.

I have looking the metabolic.com, the "anabolic solution" is a evolution of the "old" Anabolic Diet.

I order the N H E , where are the low price in the net?

Keep in mind I'm a female - and natural.

My last competition was in early May; I started the NHE program on May 25, so I'd already gained back water weight. I only had 5 weeks to try to put some muscle back on before I had to start leaning out for Nationals. I gained 1 lb./week (total gain of 5 lbs.), but my bodyfat only increased by .5% - not bad at all. I used to follow a high protein, moderate carb, low fat diet, and usually only added 1 lb. of muscle (maybe) between competitions, so I'm very happy with this program.

It also fit into the way I workout anyway, so the only major changes I had to make were to my diet. It's also been much easier leaning out on this diet - I don't crave carbs or sugar at all, which is HUGE for me. Normally, I'd have problems sleeping because I craved sugar so badly. I would also do cardio 6 days/week; right now I do cardio 3-4 days a week (although the first 7 weeks of dieting I only did cardio twice/week), and these are short, 20-30 minute sessions. Much easier to live with. I'm my leanest ever, with three weeks to go before competition. I just need to figure out the refeed process better - I started to hit a wall, and I don't think NHE allows for enough carbohydrate intake during the carb load. I'm increasing my intake to 3 meals during the last 6 hours of the day, and this seems to be working better.

Sorry for the long post.

The N.H.E is a low carb diet for increase the level of IGF-1.

thank Mr. Makaveli for the site , but I've order the book in bodybuilding.com

thank JJFigure for your reply also if was too long :D

The N.H.E is a diet high protein as a "anabolic diet" of Di Pasquale, but is a very lifestyle and is a very news in my country (italy).

I hope that it's work for me like you.
