The American Revolution

Good stuff JG. Did you read 1776? I read it last summer good read for sure. Man did we get a lot of luck to get through that first year. Including Henry Knox, which you posted. It was an incredible trip, in the winter to go and get some guns.

The industrial revolution reminds of a little story called, 'The puppy that lost his way'. The puppy (society) was a story, but the industry,... well that was a revolution my friends... Nibb High Football rules!

I was never big on American History but it was a good documentary. Von Steuben is a good story too.

I fully expect this to be a chirp thread......nobody wants to learn anything on EF...I need to post a "would you hit it" thread. :)

I was just getting ready to start a thread called "Henry Knox...Would you hit it?"

That was one of the interesting things in the documentary. The history books end at Yorktown and don't realize the political genius of the founding fathers in negotiating the actual peace.

i'd like to see a solid rev. war period film, with all the usual suspects...washington, franklkin, adams, jefferson, etc. tough, though. can't fuck that founding fathers shit up. not some mel gibson patriot ish.

put hopkins in there somewhere.
