I went to the gym today to meet up with a friend. Sundays are not normally a day I workout, so I am not familiar with a lot of people there.
My buddy grabs me and takes me near the dumbell rack to show me this guy that is doing sets of 15 handstand pushups using 100 lb dumbells to put his hands on!
1) These are round dumbells and can roll around on the floor
2) He just had hold of the bar, palms facing each other.
3) He had to at least have weighed 215
4) I watched him do 4 sets, and my buddy said he did 2-3 before I got there.
5) He was not putting his feet on the wall - everything was "in the air" and his knees were not bent. His body was perfectly vertical at all times.
6) The dumbells only rolled back and forth maybe 2" while he was doing these.
I was really, really impressed to say the least. The guy's upper body was like what you see in a Bowflex ad.
