I live nearby. The hurricane missed my city but caused damage north, south, and east of me.

My job is closed until August 20th or 23rd because of Charley. Yay!

Well I live on Tampa. I had to go down to Naples for buisness on thurs and was gonna stay down further south because it was projected to hit Tamp Bay head on. So I made a bad choice ended up staying in Venice which is like 20 miles north of the serious damage ion the Port Charlotte area. Anyways I was ok, but this storm cuases a lot of damage!!!

I haven't seen Ylifter on here so I"m assuming he's still without power as most of the city he lives in is still that way. Many cities in Central Florida are still that way actually. We got lucky and only lost power for about 17 hours but our phone still isn't working correctly.
