Testosterone speeding up healing?

Does test increase your healing abilities? (less swelling, faster recovery) or does it maybe slow it down? I ask this because i will be undergoing facial plastic surgery, and while i know to be on a very low dose during surgery ( normal test levels) would my recovery be alot quicker if I bumped up the test or would it be slower?

I don't suggest cycling during surgery, especially facial surgery. I've ran GH thru plastic surgery before, 4IUs ED but I stopped short of running a cycle. You should have your natural hormone levels in check - i.e. back to normal, post PCT - before you jump into surgery. Facial surgery is very serious, you want your whole body working for you 110% - helping you recover.

i dont plan on coming off, since i never do but rather droppingto below normal levels (for me) before surgery. Im thinking something like 100 to 200mg test a week. But my question is if i bumped my test up to somewhere from (250-750) could i heal up faster i.e. reduce swelling faster and what not so that i could return to normal daily life quicker

I would let the natural healing process, and whatever your treatment your doctor puts you on take its course. I dont have any factual basis to back up my reasoning, I guess its just a matter of preference. I just don't have any knowlege of any abilities that Test may have to increase the healing capacity or timeframe of a specific individual, however if it were there i would SPECULATE that the healing benefits are minimal at best, and therefore not even worth taking the risk while recovering.

Just play it safe till youre ready to jump back in full swing again.... thats my 2c :jenscat

You should really consider the effects of anabolics on your blood. Think hemoglobin, and hematocrit. You might not want to have sludge for blood being pumped through your vascular system during and after facial surgery (not to mention higher volumes of in the system).
