Does anyone have any first hand experience or know anyone that has used the testosterone pellet? Just learned about this today and looks like a pretty good alternative to injections, because of the steady blood level and low estrogen conversion...

Here is a bit I read somewhere else...

----------------------------
SUBCUTANEOUS TESTOSTERONE PELLET
Another relatively new form of testosterone delivery is via a pellet of pure, crystalline testosterone implanted beneath the skin. The pellets are about the size of a grain of rice, and are typically placed in the buttocks or abdomen. The insertion of the pellets is a quick procedure, usually done under local anesthesia. Pellets are usually replaced after 3-4 months. "Testopel" is a brand name for testosterone pellets in the United States.

A 200 mg testosterone pellet releases testosterone at a steady rate of 1-3 mg per day. Several pellets can be inserted at the same time to increase dosage.

Some users have reported problems with the pellets working their way out from under the skin.

Last time I checked my test range it was around 330. Would this pellet help? I had read that it can bring your level up to the 600-1000ngl range... Would that be a noticeable difference in regards to energy, putting on muscle mass?

Pellets are for HRT, bro. Because "installing" them is a surgical procedure that your doctor will likely monitor, it is unlikely that you'll get into a situation where you're given enough "extra" test to get what you want.

HRT is a big commitment. You are basically shutting your HPTA down for life. Many people (including myself) who have tried it get tired of it and try to fix what is wrong with our bodies in the first place.

You should do a complete blood workup and evaluate your lifestyle? Do you smoke? Skip on sleep? Poor diet? They all play a role in optimal hormone production. You should also be checked for things like hypothyroidism since it can mimmick hypogonadism (low testosterone) in many of its symptoms.

I have been on Dr John's regimen. It's effective, but you should use HRT as a last resort.

1-3 mgs per day? jesus you would look like a pregnant salmon to get 500/week out of those.
