i would like to know if it's worth using Testocreme as an alternative to anabolic steroids. Also, is it difficult to get it from /www.wellnessmd.com/testocreme. this link. I would greatly appreciate input .Is it definetly worth using? Thanks

think this post goes against board rules!! no posting sources!! not sure what you mean by alternative to AAS... don't know the product but I'm assuming there is testosterone in it ( correct me if I'm wrong) and therefore would be AAS

I have used topicals ... creams and gels. They work for low dosage HRT. The normal dosage from them is about 10 mg a day ... about 75 for a week.

This is fine if you are just doing a little bump to boost some blood test numbers. It is a prescription so legal.

My experience was that it will boost your testo levels and there are few sides. You'll firm up a bit and grow some muscle too.

However, they do not compare to injections or a stack for big gains and fun.

Testocreme is a formulation created by Dr. Abraham Kryger. After reading his book, I met with Dr. K in Monterey, CA. He is a very smart and accomplished researcher and one of the world's best authorities on testosterone for men. He has a private medical practice, too.

Testocreme is testosterone in a 5% or 10% solution in a special cream (PLO gel) which carries the hormone through the skin. It's not just any cream, but a special cream with unique properties that protect the hormone as it passes through the skin layers into the fat and then into the bloodstream. The major benefit to this combination is that you can spread Testocreme over a smaller surface area than normal cream and it all absorbs, and does so quickly. The reason this is important is that the more surface area of skin that you spread your topical testosterone over, the more of it will be converted to DHT in the skin and your DHT/T ratio will get out of whack.

You can put Testocream on the skin over your ribs, under your arm (between your arm pit and hips) on an area about the size of a soda pop can. Or you can use about half that amount on your scrotum for the same benefit. But you'll want to test your DHT if you're applying scrotally beacuse scrotum application will drive up DHT conversion too.

Dr. K had my bloodwork done and then prescribed Testocreme for me. It was formulated at CAP Pharmacy in Monterey. It costs a little more than normal compounded testosterone cream but it works better. Dr. K will also add other hormones to the Testocreme application if needed. For me he added some Progesterone to keep DHT conversion in check. It worked. My testosterone levels when from far below normal ranges to the top of the normal range for a 20-something year old (I"m 44).

Go to the www.wellnesmd.com website and get Dr. K's book about testosterone. It's one of the best out there. Then hope on a plane or your get into your car and go visit Dr. K in Monterey. (call for an appointment first). You can probably pick up your Testocreme from CAP Pharmacy on your way home.

Happy to answer additional questions.

I have been using testosterone creme from CAP pharmacy for years, and it works just fine, applied as mfiver suggests. I much prefer it to injectables, both for convenience and because I don't want peaks and valleys in my T levels. I use only hormones that I can feel safe with using every day for the rest of my life. I don't need "big gains and fun", just slow gains and lack of side effects.
