Testo Ena + FINASTERIDE

Hi, another one about hair!
First of all i have never cycled before so this will be my first. And Iam thinking of a Testosteron Enanthate cycle at 250mg e5d for about 10weeks. My main worries as with testo ena is the hair loss part. I have predisposed hairloss gen, right now Im useing minoxidil to prevent further loss. My question is how safe will it be too cycle on this togheter with propecia or dutasterid?(safe means not speeding up the hairloss process) Iam also considering too use Topical 5% Spironolactone!

Use both Finasteride & Dutasteride ................................

No, only use Dutasteride if you want the strongest DHT inhibitor. Taking both is just like taking Arimidex along with Letro, there's no point, no more DHT can be reduced than if taking Dutasteride by itself. The standard dose is 0.5mg daily.

Yepp thats true, dht is about 30times more potent that testosterone it self. U say finansteride is ok meaning exactly what, i will lose some more than usually?

1mg of finansteride will reduce dht by roughly 70% I have heard, not for sure! And increase the dosage will rise the level just by a few procentage! Perhaps this dosent make it worth rising the dose to 2mg, tell me what u think? My levels of testo and dht will ofcourse boost alot from orgin levels while on cycle so maybe it will give cause of a higher dosage!?

Superone: How effective is dutasteride, have u gotten any info/numbers? And I have also heard that finasteride only works for the hair on top of your head, not being effective at all for your templates, how about dutasteride?

nomen, Dutasteride is more effective than Finesteride as it inhibits 95% of DHT and is a stronger drug. Ive read a lot of people's positive results with Dutasteride. These drugs are effective for your hairline aswell, there were seperate studies done that confirmed it and i can vouch for it through personal experience. Its just in a lot of people with hairline/temple recession these are the hardest area's to treat because they have more androgen receptors. If i were you i would try Dutasteride and 5% Spiro cream. Finesteride works for a lot of people but Dutasteride provides better results most of the time and if you have hairloss already i would opt for the Dutasteride.

So even if dutasteride will reduce DHT greatly 95%, my high testosterone level will also have bad influense on my hairline because its sensetive to androgens? (all male hormones including testosterone = androgens, and will effect hair?)
You said 0.5mg is standard dose, even during a cycle ?
Better order some dutastride at minoxidil.com perhaps good to use even off cycle.

nomen, there is no solid proof that states that testosterone will contribute to hairloss, but i strongly beleive it plays a role, just not as much as DHT. I would add a topical anti-androgen like 5% Spiro at night time. As for Minoxidil remember that once you start using it you have to use it forever, or at least untill hair multiplication or some other breakthrough treatment comes along. So dont start unless you want to use it indefinetly. If you stop you will shed a shitload and possibly end up worse that you started. There is only 1 sandard dose for Dutasteride and that's 0.5mg per day. This is coming from the FDA approval notes as it was approved for BPH, not MPB. They were conducting trials for Avodart for MPB and they were into the 3rd trial but they cancelled it. I heard from some reliable sources that it was due to the expectation of poor sales, as Propecia had pretty poor sales. But it proved to be safe in a 4 year study. Some people take loading doses of 2.5mg of Avodart for the first few months so that it builds up to peak levels in the blood faster. It takes about 3 months for Avodart to reach steady state levels in the bloodstream at the standard dose of 0.5mg per day. You can use 2.5mg while on cycle if you want but that would be really expensive, and im not sure how much more you would benifit.

Okey, think I will stick with the standard dose 0.5mg of avodart and some Spiro then. By the way Ihave heard that finasteride has shown a sudden ineffectiveness after some years of use perhaps same with dutastride, have you or anyone else any clue why that is?
