Test enanthate cycle.

hey everyone this is my first post, and first cycle so im kinda a noob. lol
Iam going to do a test enanthate only cycle running at 300 mg a week.
but before i started i had a few questions.
im 22 years old. weigh 177 pounds. about 18 % bf.
iam looking to bulk up but not gain too much fat mostly muscle.
is 18 % bf too much to start the cycle with or should i loose some bf before?
another question was how should i take my pct? i got nolvadex (tamoxifen) on hand
just not sure if to start it after 1 week after my cycle or 2 weeks?
can anyone help me out i would really appreciate it. thanks . :D
 
you would enjoy that cycle alot better running it at 500 wk

+ 1, HOWEVER lol, i'm a minimalist and if he wants to start off at 300mg/wk i say go for it....my first cycle was only 200mg/wk and i grew :D....maybe some placebo involved but nevertheless effective.

beaver, depending on your height i would suggest posting your diet also....unless your 5'6", i would venture to say that you can put on some poundage by packing your plate a little more, cheers and good luck man,

as for my diet its not all that great. but this was yesterdays meals.
(8:00 a.m) 6 egg whites, protein shake.
(11:00 a.m) tuna salad.
(1:30 p.m.) chiken breast. with white rice.
(4:00 p.m.) gym
(6:30 p.m.) protein shake after gym.
(8::00 p.m.) some chiken breast again with white rice.
(10:00 p.m.) protein shake then bed.
i know its not all that great. if you or anyone can help out on what i should eat ill really appreciate it. thanks.

as for my diet its not all that great. but this was yesterdays meals.
(8:00 a.m) 6 egg whites, protein shake.
(11:00 a.m) tuna salad.
(1:30 p.m.) chiken breast. with white rice.
(4:00 p.m.) gym
(6:30 p.m.) protein shake after gym.
(8::00 p.m.) some chiken breast again with white rice.
(10:00 p.m.) protein shake then bed.
i know its not all that great. if you or anyone can help out on what i should eat ill really appreciate it. thanks.

definitely change out white rice for brown rice....not sure what the calorie count is, but i'd like to see more food and less protein shakes overall. i only do 2 shakes a day and the rest i get from whole foods. at 5'10", i'd like to see you get to 185lb minimum (200lb preferably) before hopping on a cycle, but i'm not there to stop you and hold ur hand lol....if you were taking in 3K cals, which is minimum for taking on a cycle IMO, you'd be at 185-200 naturally.

btw, how's ur energy level?....if it's anything but low, i'd be suprised; your not taking in much carbs and i'm now questioning how hard u hit the gym :p damn kids and their metabolisms i guess :rolleyes: if i ate like that i'd have no energy to do shit IMO :p

that being said, i eat 2K calories/day and i can maintain 225lbs at 6'1", 11% BF w/ only push-ups, ab wheel, and some running....when i played ball in college, i was taking in 4500 cals (mostly clean) and got up to 265lbs, 14% bf, but then again i was also hitting the gym like a maniac - working out around 4-6 hrs/day w/ practice.

im definitely going to replace the white rice for brown rice.
and yeah as i said my diet isnt all that great lol. i guess i have to research
more on what foods to eat (clean foods of course).
and as for my energy level its pretty high. im always pumped in the gym.

mind telling my if you think 18 % bf is too much to begin my cycle? :D

to be perfectly honest with you, yes i think 18% is a little high to start a cycle...you'll get more out of AAS at a lower BF%. Like i said, 3K calories/day w/ about 2g of carbs per lb of body weight and 2g of protein per lb of body weight should do the trick. you'll be amazed how anabolic getting ur diet tuned in will help you out. there's a diet section on this board, post ur diet and ask for some advice....they'll point u in the right direction, :coffee:

i wouldnt start aas until you lose the fat and put on some muscle first. heres a few pointers judging on your stats and posted diet.

eat equal amounts of protein, carbs, and veggies in every meal 5 times per day. eat enough to not get to hungry before the next meal. you will figure it out after a few days. remember dont go to hungry, but you want to be hungry.

run cardio 5 days per week first thing in the morning before you eat.

drink real brewed green tea throughout the day. 2 tea bags and a packet of stevial in a glass of ice water tastes great and will help you.

find a good 3 day split. there are plenty of good ones in the training section. keep your fats low for now.

after a couple months of this you should be in much better shape to run a cycle. 300mg test will be fine.
 
metamucil is a fiber supplement, completely naturally. Bodybuilding foods high in protein and fat ( meats, eggs , hard cheese) are void of fiber. Taking 2-3t of a fiber supplement about 2-3 hours before bedtime makes constipation non existant, plus the health benefits of the fiber itself.
