Test e abcess

Hi guys, dont think this is a problem now, but can anyone explain: I injected 250 ml of test e, next day site became very itchy red and sore giving off a lot of heat, with a large type of knot about 4 inches by 3 inches. Its almost gone now but started to worry. Kept everything clean and tidy with the injecting etc??? Just wondered what it was.

Often, when injecting anything, you may get a local reaction at the site. Probably not infection if it is getting better without antibiotics.
