Test + Deca cycle... strength gains when?

I am in my third week of Deca 300mg/wk and Test 250mg/wk. I front-loaded the first week (doubled up), am experiencing a noticable amount of bloat (which is normal for me), yet have not noticed any real strength gains yet.

It's been a while since I've done a cycle (about a year)... and I can't remember how long it takes before the mad strength gains start taking place. Does this usually start happening in week 4 and later?

Does diet affect strength gains... or just overall size? I wonder if I should be eating more meat or something to help out. I'm pushing myself pretty hard in the gym. Should I be maxing out more?
 
Why dont u make the test 500mg/week instead of 250. Also it should start kicking this week, but for a low test dose it might need more time.

Oh my friend your in for a suprise! Just wait until that deca really kicks in! You will be ready to cut it off. Your sexlife will change dramatically(and I dont mean in a good way).

Strangely enough, I can already see differences in my muscular disposition... for example, my biceps and chest are clearly larger and more defined than they were a couple of weeks ago. I seem to be responding to it well... I just can't wait for the strength to kick in... it's gonna be awesome.

Yeah, I was thinking of bumping up the test to 500... to over-ride the deca dick crap. Although I did order some liquid-cia from ancillaryguys... and it WORKS LIKE A MUTHA. I took 2 droplets and for 3 days straight, every time the wind blew, I got hard. Pretty good stuff I think... I'm uncertain if it will completely keep me up and running, but it has helped so far.

I usually don't start really feeling it until the 4th or 5th week so it should be hittin you soon. You're holding on to water, that's why you look bigger, but aren't stronger. Diet will definitely effect strength. You need to be eating enough carbs to have the energy to lift the heavy weights in the gym.
Also, 250mg/wk of test is plenty to keep your sex drive up. If you're looking
to increase the dose for the size/strength benefits, that's one thing, but you shouldn't need to increase it for your libido.
 
Cool beans... I'm just gonna try to eat more... although for some reason any and all AS cause a significant decrease in appetite for me... it's almost like I have to shove the food down my throat.

I hope this cycle should be enough to get my bench up 80 - 100 lbs or so. The last time I ran deca and test, I also ran dbol at 40mg/ed and put 100 lbs on my bench press in the first 4 weeks.... but the bloat almost killed me.

One thing though, my face is fat as HELL... and I'm doing 1 hour per day of heavy cardio (kickboxing class)... how can I get my face to lose the "fat look?" Should I do neck exercises?

Neck exercises??? WTF Dude, what in the hell is that going to do for water retention in your face? All that's going to do is give you a bigger neck.

I don't think anything is specifially designed for facial bloating, but adding arimidex at about .5mg/ed should definitely bring the bloat down a good bit.
Also, make sure you're getting plenty of water. If your body is well hydrated, it won't feel the need to hold onto water.

Good luck with the neck exercised..........just kidding bro. ;)
 
Have I done a cycle before? LOL... yeah, a few. I know a decent amount about lifting and juice. Even when I'm "off", there are few if any men in my gym (Golds) that can match my strength. I'm 5'10, 274 lbs., bench 405 for reps... I've worked out for about 16 years... I'm not completely in the dark... rest assured.

The basis for my question about reduction in facial bloat with neck exercises is this: when I seek spot fat reduction in a particular body part, doing high-rep exercises seems to have a positive impact on that area... and since I'm unable to conjure a manner in which my face would exercies (with the exception of eating more and exercising my jaw)... I wondered if additional neck exercises might positively affect my facial appearance.... it was just a thought.

This is the lightest cycle I've ever done, I kept it this way to avoid the bloat (I usually balloon up close to 300 lbs. when on)... and I was a little anxious about when to expect the additional strength gains to set in... that's all.
 
im on the sixth week deca test 400/100ed and all i got is great pump so far lol. no extra strenght no gained weight at all. but im on diet-cycling carbs- getting shredded holding the same weight ( therefore i think im actualy gaining some bit.found lump so taking 1.25 letro liquid and its working( first sign after 10 days), lump nearly gone. first 10 days was taking 2.5 letro.
plan to compete for the first time in 7 weeks. well thats gonna be funny lo :-)

i agree with this - also i know some people who dont see massive strength increase - if i am training with low volume and low reps - i very rarely see massive increases however i try to time my cycles for when im peaking with lots of volume and i then would say i hold my strength for longer for example i would squat 180kg for 12 reps for 3-4 sets and prob keep same rep range where as off cycle would get 12 ,9,6,4 for example )
