May need the good doc for this one.
Last year my Deca cycle was fine. This year did a Test cycle and my body did not like it at all.
I am 45 and we know the body reduces Test levels as we get older –vs- you younger users who are swimming in natty test all day long. I think the older male system actually fights off the Test, whereas the younger male system is loving it, and so the gains come nicely.
This 500/wk Test cycle for me- I have been tired, low energy, not hungry, prostate swelling, difficulty urinating, constipated – all the things that create an environment for NO gains. I have been lifting for 10+ years, am in perfect health, all blood levels ok. Second half of this cycle added Proviron 25 ed to help out - did nothing.
I read on here how many of you have come to like a specific aas, that works well with your system and gives you the results you want. But it seems that this is a hit or miss thing, trying different aas during various cycles and over time arriving at the ones that best fit your goals.
I have never read anything on here that discusses which aas are best for the body as it progresses thru its hormonal changes over the years. Yes there is a big difference between a 20 year old body dying to build muscle, and a 40+ body wondering why the hell you want muscle.
The question is- What aas are best suited for the older lifter?
