Term Paper!! Help!!

New member
Okay... I need help from anyone that has ever had to write a paper on India and their economy.

And another long shot... I have a 15 page term paper for my marketing class. It has to be on one of the following topics:
- Yield Management Pricing: Principles and Practices
- An analysis of the Marketing strategy of Costco
- An analysis of the Marketing Strategy of Dell Computer
- An analysis of the Marketing of Southwest Airlines

I'm an absolute terrible writer and I have yet to write a real college term paper. I've only had to write short lil 3-4 page jobs so far. I'm really screwed. Man, if I could lay out the money to have someone write it for me it would be done and done!!:D

Any and all help you guys can give me will be soooo much appreciated. Help me cause I'm clueless:confused:

LOL...girl, I was offering the same thing last night! Good luck with it! I wish I could help you, but I did my 18 pager last night! :)

Are you looking for topics, information, or papers already writen regarding the Indian economy?

I just finished a major research project on using Indian call centers for direct response marketing. It's a great topic, but not in college essay form.

I just finished a similar research project over a 6 year period... except mine was done in Latin, and translated into Indian... then over to English...

Exactly Nav..

I like to outline my papers in the same fashion. I break it down into topics that are 1-2 pages each usually.. 1-2 pages can be done in one sitting without blinking.

Thanks for the replies everyone!!
Yeah, I know about making an outline, but the topics just don't come to me!! I've always been really bad at writing. I'm better at taking an exam than writing. Its torture to me.

Heres the thing with the Economics paper. Originally its supposed to be an oral report but theres no way I can do that with my anxiety. So my professor is letting me write a paper on anything having to do with the economy of India. I also need to write something on the economy of India, its government economic policies and major business firms, which I can do. So really what I'm looking for is any kind of paper having to do with India and its dang economy, any aspect of it as an extra credit/makeup kinda thing.

As for the Marketing paper, it has to be on one of the above mentioned topics. "The paper should include current sources, current practices, have a balanced perspective (pros vs. cons), examine the differences between domestic and international strategies, and have a scholarly tone."

Thanks guys!!

LILady.....I don't want to jump on your thread with my problems but. I wish I could help ya but I have a 25 page economics paper to do myself. Except mine is anything on the U.S economy:(

I'm with you though, I have never really writen a big research paper.

I,m usually on this board to make people think i,m an asshole or weird or ?? but i,l help ya>>>>India's economy is a mixture of traditional village farming, modern agriculture, handicrafts, a wide range of modern industries, and a multitude of support services. Faster economic growth in the 1980s permitted a significant increase in real per capita private consumption. A large share of the population, perhaps as much as 40%, remains too poor to afford an adequate diet. Financial strains in 1990 and 1991 prompted government austerity measures that slowed industrial growth but permitted India to meet its international payment obligations without rescheduling its debt. Production, trade, and investment reforms since 1991 have provided new opportunities for Indian businessmen and an estimated 100 million to 200 million middle class consumers. New Delhi has always paid its foreign debts on schedule and has stimulated exports, attracted foreign investment, and revived confidence in India's economic prospects. Foreign exchange reserves, precariously low three years ago, now total more than $19 billion. Positive factors for the remainder of the 1990s are India's strong entrepreneurial class and the central government's recognition of the continuing need for market-oriented approaches to economic development, for example in upgrading the wholly inadequate communications facilities. Negative factors include the desperate poverty of hundreds of millions of Indians and the impact of the huge and expanding population on an already overloaded environment.
