i keep getting golfers/tennis elbow. every 3/4 months i end up having to have a cortizine injection then im ok for a few months and it returns. i always warm up carefully but it seems to make no difference. any ideas?
I would say stay away from cortizine injections, I had this problem for a few years, work related. These shots ease the pain but do big damage to the body and do nothing to cure the problem. They may even make it worce because your not feeling the pain and you damage the aria even more.
What causes this is micro tears in the mucel near the tendon, which causes inflamation of the nerves and tendons. You need to take time to let this heal, it may take some time for this to heal completly. Most of what the doctors do ends up just makeing it worce not better.
When you lift you need to do it very correctly, go very light at first, build forarms bicepts and trycepts.
Use raps and make sure your arms are worm before starting.
And see a good cyro because anything outof line will just inflame it more.
Many people who get this will be dealing with it the rest of their lives. But many like me have learned to take it easy and still get a good workout.
tendons and nerves don't heal like mucels, you need to baby them or they will put you out of biz.
I would say much of this is caused by not using your arms correctly.
If you lift off angle your putting stress on your elbow and that inflames the nerves and tendons.
