I used DMSO for years starting back in 1985. My current wife hates the way it makes mmy breath smell so it's gone for good. DMSO is some scary stuff though because you have to make sure you clean the area you want to treat real well. This stuff will take whatever is on your skin into you body and if there is dirt os germs it all goes into your blood stream so you have to be carefull when you use it. Thats one reason why so many people use it for transdermal use, but you need to get over the taste and smell. Never bothered me, just my wife.

Use Traumil (or is it Traumel) instead. Its another popular horse-linament. More expensive, but no smell or bad breath.
