Ten compound drug test

I called up the company I was supposed to go get drug tested at to ask them what compounds would be tested. They said they couldn't disclose this test but it was a 10 compound test, it's for pre-employment, any idea what the other 5 may be besides weed, coke, pcp, opiates and amphetamines?

The 10 Panel test is for: marijuana, Cocaine, PCP, Opiates, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Amphetamine, Barbiuates, Benzodiazepines, and Tricyclic Antidepressants.

why the hell would someone test for tricyclic antidepressants? I mean I have no idea why they would be abused, I know they are used for depression, atypical neuropathic pain (neuralgia, diabetic neuropathy) but who the hell says "man I need to score some tricyclics"? the things take 3-6 weeks to do a damn thing?

i have no clue as to why they'd test for TCAs.
i did a search on drug tests and thats what the 10panel test consists of. i agree with you on the question though...

I dont think they test for the anti depressants, I found a goodwebsite that listed the ones you did but instead of the antidepressants they tested for Methaqualone (Qualudes)

I still find it odd that companies test for PCP. Does anybody really use that anymore? I have been around alot of drug circles in my time and have met exactly ONE guy who had used PCP.

I guess that's how the kits are made. Makes more sense then testing for anti - d's.

I used to work as a drug tester for a company and always thought it was odd that we tested for 5 different drug classes (the NIDA 5) and I could never figure out why PCP was listed...Perhaps its just my conception of the pcp user may be skewed, as I think of them as some raging psychotic who terrorizes everybody in town for no reason.
