Telling your doc question

I was wondering do all of you let your doc know why your getting your bloodwork and what are their reactions usually? I know they would get kinda suspicious getting my bloodwork done 3 times in a 4-6month period and can they go to the authorities if you tell them you've been juicing. I tried setting up an appoinment for bloodwork today and they wanted to know why I needed bloodwork done and I didn't really know what to tell them so I told them I just wanted to get it done cuz Ive never had it done.

I mean usually I didnt think they would ask you why and think you are suspicious. I mean tell them you just are curious as to your health or something.

their job is to provide health care service to you. if you want your blood checked, fine it is a service they provide.

Assuming you're not underage their not going to go to the authorities.
As to why you constantly want your blood levels checked? You're a nut that's obsessed with his test levels.
Remember, you pay THEM. They work for YOU. If they don't like it go somewhere else.

I remember reading a thread a while back, I think it might have been on here. Where a bro came clean to the doc about AS useage, and he ratted him out to his insurance company, and he got canceled, and was stuck with major medical bills. Any insight on this issue?

I told my doc everything.
I also said I wanted it "off the record" so there were no notes taken in my charts. He was really cool with it. Explained the sides and disadvantages and then ran my blood work to see how I was doing.
I think you have to feel him\her out and take it from there.

Same with my doc. There is me and him and me and him otr.
Most docs will recommend regular blood workups=as it should be period. So my friend you should tell all-if your doc rights it down how do tou think he'd like a class 1 lawsuit. It just doesnt realistically happen. You business is btw you and him.

i am an insurance man and deal with health insurance and many other lines. this is a great story but highly unlikely. what does that doctor possibly have to gain by "ratting out" a client to an insurance company?

remember doctors are business people and as you all get older you will realize they are not higher and more noble than the rest of us. patients do not grow on trees. patients with health insurance are money in their pockets.

it would also be doubtful a health insurer would legally be able to get out of their policy contract with if they "find out" a policy holder is doing AS. the only way a claim can be denied or a policy can be cancelled besides nonpayment of premium is if the claims department can prove the policyholder misrepresented himself (lied) on the application.
