Tax Time - Anyone get their W2's yet?

I haven't gotten any forms yet, and we get mail late here. The instant I do get it though, I'm going to be doing my taxes online with TurboTax like I have since '99.

It is up in the air if I will have to pay taxes this year or not - the amount of time I've lived here is questionably close to the limit - but I have moved here so it is hard to say when I really started being here... :)

I am generally assuming that I will get audited at some point fairly soon.

I'm always in a hurry to e-file using TurboTax also. (Even though they continue to raise the fee for their web-based prep and filing every year. :( )

...Cashed out a pension and substantial chunk of a 401k last year to help live off while returning to school, so I think I'm going to get totally whacked with additional taxes and the early-withdrawal penalty.

Yep, got mine last week! Plan to file in a week or two - I should be getting a nice refund. I get education credits and I make almost NO money. Plus, living in a state with no state income tax helps. :)

Not yet. I can`t wait untill I file every year because it`s such a relief when it`s over.

I wish I could file online easily. A couple of years ago my accountant charged me $950 for my return. lol She took $500 off and charged me only $450 to "give me a break" but it was "voluminous" and took a lot of her time.

No. My firm sucks with things like that. The firm has less than 40 people and never gives the w2 before January 31. Last year it was after Feb. 2.

I did TurboTax last year and was real happy with it. However, this year's gonna be more complicated for me since I had a short stint with a company where I was being paid on 1099.

Doesn't TurboTax have a feature where you can call and ask accounting questions at no charge? I need to know if I can write off a computer I bought last year, and what value I can place on my old one that I donated.
